> Redcliff line: This line separates India and Pakistan. This line was laid down by "Sir Cyrill Radcliffe"




>McMahon line: Mc Mahon line separates India from China and this was demarcated by "Sir Hennery Mc Mahon" in 1914.





>Durand Line: Durand line separates India from Afghanistan. This line was laid down by "Sir Henry Durand" in 1896. Before separation. India and Pakistan was one and demarcation of border between Indian and Afghanistan was made by Durand line. This is a smallest border of India and presently it separates Pakistan occupied Kashmir (POK) and Afghanistan

>Zero line: Border line between Tripura state of India and Bangladesh is called zero line. Problem of Chakma refugees in India is pertaining to this line.




>Coco channel: India is connected to Myanmar by land border and sea channel. Sea border is connected with coco channel connects Bay of Bengal to Andaman sea and separates coco island by Myanmar from landfall island of India.

 >Great channel: This channel separates great Nicobar Island of India from Sumba Island of Indonesia. It also connects Indian Ocean to Andaman Sea. It is also known as six-degree channel.

>8Degree channel: Its separate union territory of Lakshadweep of India from Maldives and it connects Arabian sea with Indian ocean.

>9Degree channel: It separates Minicoy Island from rest the Lakshadweep and connects Arabian sea to Indian ocean. This channel divides Lakshadweep into two parts. 

>Saint George channel: This channel separates little Nicobar of Andaman Nicobar Island from great Nicobar. It also connects Andaman Sea to Indian ocean.




>Sombero channel: This channel separates little Nicobar from car Nicobar. It connects Indian ocean to Andaman Sea.

>10degree channel: This channel connects Bay of Bengal to Andaman Sea and separates Andaman Island from Nicobar Island.

>Duncan Passage: It also connects Bay of Bengal to Andaman Sea as well as separates Andaman Island from little Andaman.

>Palk strait: This strait connects Bay of Bengal to Palk Bay as well as connects gulf of manner to Palk Bay. Palk strait separates Tamil Nadu state of India to Jaffna peninsula of the island nation of Sri Lanka.
